Reset Device
Who should use this guide
Use this page when you are moving to a new PC, changing major hardware, or recovering from a device binding mistake.
Before you begin
- Confirm that you really need a reset - Sign in to the correct account first - Check whether your plan has a reset limit or cooldown
Steps
1
Open the account or device management page
Log in to the portal or client area where the current bound device is shown.
2
Review the active device before resetting
Make sure the device listed is the one you want to release. If you reset the wrong entry, you may lose time and still need support.
3
Submit the reset request
Complete the reset action and wait for the status to update. Do not sign in from the new device until the old binding is actually cleared.
4
Bind the new or corrected device
After the reset finishes, continue with Bind Device / HWID.

Common questions
What if no reset button is available?
Your account may not have self-service reset enabled. Contact Support with the account email and reason for the reset.
Should I reset before reinstalling Windows?
Yes, if you know the reinstall may change the device profile used by the product.
I reset the device but the new PC still cannot bind.
Wait a few minutes, sign in again, and then reattempt the bind. If the old status remains, contact support.
