Update Failed
Who should use this guide
Use this page when the updater stalls, restarts repeatedly, throws an error, or never reaches a completed state.
Before you begin
- Close extra client processes - Keep the install folder in one stable path - Confirm your network is available during the update
Steps
1
Stop the client completely
Close the loader and any leftover update process before retrying. Mixed live processes can lock files during patching.
2
Check the install path and free space
Make sure the folder is writable and the drive has enough free space for the patch.
3
Retry once from a clean state
Reopen the client and let the updater run without interruption. Do not move or rename the folder mid-update.
4
Use clean reinstall if the same failure repeats
If the update fails again, download the latest package and perform a clean reinstall instead of forcing repeated patch attempts.

Common questions
Should I keep retrying the updater?
No. Retry once after a clean close. If it fails again, use a clean reinstall or contact support.
The update gets stuck at the same percentage every time.
That usually means a locked file, permission block, or network interruption.
I updated manually and now the version looks wrong.
