Network Error
Who should use this guide
Use this page when the client times out, cannot connect, shows a request failure, or cannot validate login or update status because of network problems.
Before you begin
- Confirm that the device is online - Avoid changing multiple network settings at once - Write down the exact error text if one is shown
Steps
1
Check general internet access first
Confirm the device can reach normal websites and the official Mshop site before assuming the client itself is broken.
2
Retry from a stable network
If you are on a restricted or unstable network, test once from a cleaner connection before changing client files.
3
Check local security or filtering tools
VPNs, proxies, DNS filters, antivirus web protection, and firewall rules can all interrupt login or update requests.
4
Retest the exact failing action
After adjusting the network path, retry the same login, update, or launch check. If the error is unchanged, collect the screenshot and contact support.

Common questions
Why does the client fail on one network but not another?
That usually means the first network blocks or interferes with one of the required endpoints.
Should I reinstall the client for a network error?
Not first. Verify connectivity and filtering behavior before reinstalling local files.
What details should I send to support?
Send the error screenshot, version number, account email, and whether the issue changes when you use a different network.
